👉 Tip: Ask for a breakdown of MORTGAGE, INSURANCE, TAXES, HOA +PMI (if applicable)
This is the person you'll be talking to every. single. day. They should be your guide and trusted advisor to make sure you're equipped to make the best decisions with your hard earned money. 🍞
👉 Make sure you gel well with your agent AND they have experience with the current market + the areas you're looking in!
Now send that Pre-Approval to your Realtor & Create a MUST HAVES & WANTS list (who are we kidding you probably did this first 😂)
Ask your Agent for their top recommendations and ask around/ read reviews online. 🔎
Here are some things you may not have considered getting inspected 👇
🐜 For peace of mind, consider a termite inspection (must for VA loan!)
🏊 Are you buying a pool home? Get that inspected!
🪠Does the house has a septic tank?You know the deal..get that inspected!
👉 Most Inspection Periods only last 5-7 days now, so have your inspector handy before you go under contract.
4️⃣ CLOSING AGENT
Having a BOSS team on your side to get all this stuff done is H U G E!
Your Closing Agent doesn't just hold your escrow deposit, they also run title search, lien search, request estoppel, seller pay off quote, draft closing documents, survey, elevation certificate, etc.
Basically, they do a lot.
OUR RECOMMENDATION: Hire a Closing Agent that has an in-house attorney. 👩💼 If anything goes south you want to be able to tap into that resource quickly and not have to rush to find an attorney to bring into the deal at that point.
